Embrace Your Faith

There is no problem too big God cannot solve.

There is no mountain too tall He cannot move.

There is no storm too dark God cannot calm.

There is no sorrow too deep, God cannot soothe.

That’s the way the song goes…

And that’s the way… our God rolls 🙂

 

But our life at times is filled with so much “noise” from the world around us

that we can’t even be “still” before Him even for a few moments

to be in His presence.

That even the internal noise of our thoughts rob us of those precious times with Him.

 

In the quietness of our soul we can experience such peace and healing, strength and a blessed assurance.

In sweet surrender His grace immerses us into His Love.

It is where we begin to hear Him more clearly.

His voice… His whispers…

It is where our prayer life grows and our faith is supernaturally edified.

In the “stillness of our soul” we are in a place in His Throne of Grace

 

Don’t be afraid to be “still” before Him.

Once we do and make it a habit.

Life is more fulfilling and complete

in spite what’s going on around us.

Our God is an AWESOME GOD!

 

He never sleeps, never rests… waiting for us always………. with open arms…………….* 

 

Yes, be still before Him

let God AMAZE YOU! 

 

 ”So do not fear, for I am with you; 

   do not be dismayed, for I am your God. 
I will strengthen you and help you; 
   I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:9

 

For He said, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; 
   I have summoned you by name; you are mine. 
 When you pass through the waters, 
   I will be with you; 
and when you pass through the rivers, 
   they will not sweep over you.

   you will not be burned;

Empower Yourself

It’s A Brand New Day

Yes!!! Let’s start our day RIGHT… or any day for that matter with a great, positive and HAPPY attitude!

It’s a new day. A new week.

Yesterday is gone and past.

You can never take back, what you said or done.

But you can certainly as easily

START OVER!!!!

Get back on track and remind yourself how beautiful life is…  or can be!

New opportunities and it’s gifts and Grace

 

Are you struggling with something…?

 

Whatever it is…

Today, is your chance to CHANGE all that…

 

 

If it’s humanly possible. You can do it!

If it’s impossible. God CAN!

 

– Be creative.

– Enhance. Improve. Progress.

– Change course. Be flexible. Have a positive dialogue with yourself.

– Think out of the box. Step out of your comfort zone.

– Make a difference to someone’s day today

– Pause… sometime in the day even for a few moments to take a deep breath…. To appreciate the day!

If it’s not working out, “pause”  again… to get your composure back. Get your second wind. And ask for His “Grace” above. 

– – Most importantly, don’t forget God in your every day life. Talk to Him anytime of the day. And ask Him for faith even as small as a mustard seed. You’ve heard haven’t you? His Word says, “if you have faith as small as a mustard seed. You can tell this mountain to move and it shall.”

For it is done according to thy faith.

“Life does not play favorites.” It only gives back… to us…  what we put in first. Not the other way around.

Get into the habit of filtering what you allow your mind to dwell upon most of the time. If you allow a lot of garbage, then, you will have a lot of garbage in your life.

Soar and fly like an eagle…. rest if you must at times. We all need them after all.

Keep on looking on what’s before you and not what’s behind you. Looking at yesterdays only purpose is to learn the lessons life is teaching us. It’s not suppose to make us bitter or angry or change who we are but to GROW.

 

Look more of what’s good in people and your life…

What good is it

if you have eyes and yet can’t see others’ point of view?

and put yourself in someone else’s shoes?

What good is it

if you only see others mistakes and not your own?

What good is it 

if you can speak but what comes out of it are curses, complains & criticisms most of the time?

And what good is it

if you have a heart and yet choose not to forgive? 

Don’t lit up another’s candle to brighten the world,

light up first the candle within you…

and the rest of the world will light up*

Let’s be more curious than judgmental…

more understanding and less critical,

more constructive, encouraging & positively engaging…

then our world would be a better place.

There are times we are not at our best.

Perception of Appreciation: Stress Antidote

Things WE Can Be THANKFUL for Today…

Sometimes, life is just so stressful it’s hard to see and APPRECIATE what we have…

take people and things for granted.

I found this old email that someone sent me which I think is so appropriate for moments like these…..

I am Thankful :

 FOR THE WIFE

WHO SAYS IT’S HOT DOGS TONIGHT,
BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME,
AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

 FOR THE HUSBAND

WHO IS ON THE SOFA
BEING A COUCH POTATO,
BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS.

FOR THE TEENAGER
WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES
BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,
NOT ON THE STREETS.

FOR THE TAXES I PAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM EMPLOYED.

FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE
BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

 

FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE

FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME.

FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE IT MEANS
WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH..

FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.

FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.

 

FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH
WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS
I CAN HEAR.

FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

 FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES

AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN
CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.

You and I might have more problems than these.

But I am sure “there are people that have more –

and BIGGER problems than we do…”

And that… we can be thankful for!  🙂

Keys To A Long Life and Prosperity

 

The Bible is the most ever sold book and more often never read or forgotten.

It boggles the imagination.

If people only knew the power, the blessings, the wisdom and guide for our everyday living the Book contains…

People will read it 24/7.

But the Book can only work by “faith.”

 

Not logic or any rationale, or philosophy or physics.

For God is Spirit.

Ask God’s Spirit (Holy Spirit) to enlighten you and give you clarity and understanding.

Before you begin to read His Word on the keys to a long life and prosperity…..

Invite the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and your spirit

that you may experience God in a whole new way.

A personal way. 🙂

 

Keys To A Long Life & Prosperity

PROVERBS 3:1-12

My son, do not forget my teaching, 
   but keep my commands in your heart, 
² for they will prolong your life many years 
   and bring you peace and prosperity.

 ³ Let love and faithfulness never leave you; 
   bind them around your neck, 
   write them on the tablet of your heart. 
⁴ Then you will win favor and a good name 
   in the sight of God and man.

 ⁵ Trust in the LORD with all your heart 
   and lean not on your own understanding; 
⁶ in all your ways submit to him, 
   and he will make your paths straight.^[a]

The Bible is our “Living Manual.” Our “Life Saver.”

Read it often. As you do, God will reveal things to you that you never thought possible. The more you read… the more He becomes real and personal to you.

And I promise you this….

He will bless you more than you can ever know or imagine….

Peace and Hope Through Difficulties Times

In our journey in life, no matter how successful we may be, or happy, or satisfied. We are not exempt or can escape from the wear and tear and storms of life. The scars, the bruises. The valleys and the mountains. The heartaches and the tears life brings. We are all vulnerable even at our best.

The good news is that God promises that if we trust Him with a childlike faith, where we surrender the things we cannot control. Then, life becomes easier. Problems may not disappear the way we want them. But we can go and face them with such wonderful peace.

And he exhorts us to surrender everything to Him. He said,

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”  – Matthew 11:28-31

We know that through faith everything’s going to work out just fine.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28

So let’s not allow the pettiness of the day steal our joy.

And if you have problems as huge as the Himalayas. Let it not take away your peace.

Fear not…..

For He is with you… till the end of time.

The Story of the Most Precious Gem

Once day, there was an old woman who lived in the mountains. She was very wise. 

Sitting by the river, she was  gazing into the river.  She noticed a precious stone; it was a huge precious stone. 

Then, she reached into the river and readily took it out from the stream. As she looked at the precious stone, she knew that this was the solution and the answer to all her problems and struggles for the rest of her life; then she put it very carefully into her bag.  A few moments passed, as she was contemplating her serene future,  and how she would use the gem. 

At that moment, a tired traveler stopped and asked her: “I am hungry . do you have anything to eat?” 

The kindhearted woman opened her little bag, and reached out for her piece of bread, and she gave it to the man . At that moment, he noticed her gem and asked her, ” Can I see that stone?”

She gave the stone to the man.

Then , he said: “What a beautiful stone!

Tell me, could I have it? ”

She answered without hesitation, “Sure, you can take it.” 

Then the man took the gem and disappeared.

The following day, the traveler came back to the woman, and said, “Woman, here is your precious stone. I want you to have it. It belongs to you. Instead of having it, I would like to ask you something that is even more precious than the stone. “

“What is that?” the woman asked.

And the young man said, “I ‘d want you to give me what is it inside your heart that allowed you to give me the precious stone.”

These Are GOD’s PROMISES for YOU*

How do you know or measure someone’s love?

Well, we all know that if they accept us just the way we are. The good as well as the bad. Then, they must really love us.

But God did more than that.

He gave His very life to save us, heal us, deliver us from our troubles and so much more we can ever imagine. He really does in spite of our imperfections, our stubbornness, our pride and ingratitude towards Him.

He still loves YOU & me.

Wouldn’t you want to know more on what God’s promises are for you?

What He thinks about you…

It’s all in His Word.

Promises like, “your name is engraved on the palm of His Hand.”

– “He even knows the number of our very hair.”

– “He knows our thoughts before we even speak it.”

Those are a few out of so many of God’s promises for you and me.

The more you know about His Word and His promises the less fears & doubts you’ll have about Him, about your life and about yourself.

Because JESUS, took ALL those to the CROSS
– and gave His LIFE for it. That we may be FREE…
