There is no problem too big God cannot solve.

There is no mountain too tall He cannot move.

There is no storm too dark God cannot calm.

There is no sorrow too deep, God cannot soothe.

That’s the way the song goes…

And that’s the way… our God rolls 🙂

But our life at times is filled with so much “noise” from the world around us

that we can’t even be “still” before Him even for a few moments

to be in His presence.

That even the internal noise of our thoughts rob us of those precious times with Him.

In the quietness of our soul we can experience such peace and healing, strength and a blessed assurance.

In sweet surrender His grace immerses us into His Love.

It is where we begin to hear Him more clearly.

His voice… His whispers…

It is where our prayer life grows and our faith is supernaturally edified.

In the “stillness of our soul” we are in a place in His Throne of Grace

Don’t be afraid to be “still” before Him.

Once we do and make it a habit.

Life is more fulfilling and complete

in spite what’s going on around us.

Our God is an AWESOME GOD!

He never sleeps, never rests… waiting for us always………. with open arms…………….*

Yes, be still before Him

let God AMAZE YOU!

 ”So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:9

For He said, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
   I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
   you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the LORD your God… your Savior.

Isaiah 43:1-3

Need a little “pick me up?” And no can’t seem to help even your spouse? A friend or even Starbucks ain’t helping?

Sometimes, we go through life that only God can satisfy our thirst… lift us up….

comfort us….   give us peace……  and put a smile back in our face.

Here’s a song that I think might do that for you today.

Listen… enjoy……… & be blessed!

Be still, there is a healer
His love is deeper than the sea
His mercy, it is unfailing
His arms are fortress for the weak

I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart
These things, I remember
You are faithful, God, forever

Be still, there is a river
That flows from Calvary‘s tree
A fountain for the thirsty
Pure grace that washes over me

Let faith arise.
Let faith arise

This is such a beautifulbeautiful….         thing written by a French priest in 1954..

Priest prays on Sunday Night

It is so touching……….         inspiring………..       and uplifting…………

to those who always give…………..  love…………..         care………….

Don’t change or give up just because……….

You owe it to yourself to read this……….         share this…………..       live this……………*

Tonight, Lord, I am alone.

Little by little the sounds
died down in the church.
The people went away,
And I came home,
Alone.

I passed people who were
returning from a walk.
I went by the cinema
that was disgorging its crowd.
I skirted café terraces where tired strollers
were trying to prolong t
he pleasure of a Sunday holiday.
I bumped into youngsters
playing on the footpath,
Youngsters, Lord,
Other people’s youngsters
who will never be my own.

Here I am, Lord,
Alone.
The silence troubles me,
The solitude oppresses me.

Lord, I’m 35 years old,
A body made like others,
ready for work,
A heart meant for love,
But I’ve given you all.
It’s true of course, that you needed it.
I’ve given you all, but it is hard, Lord.
It’s hard to give one’s body;
it would like to give itself to others.
It’s hard to love everyone and to claim no one.
It’s hard to shake a hand
and not want to keep it.
It’s hard to inspire affection,
only to give it to you.
It’s hard to be nothing to oneself
in order to be everything to others.
It’s hard to be like others, among others,
and be an other to them.
It’s hard always to give
without trying to receive.
It’s hard to seek out others
and to be oneself unsought.
It’s hard to be told secrets,
and never be able to share them.
It’s hard to carry others
and never, even for a moment, be carried.
It’s hard to sustain the feeble
and never be able to lean on one
who is strong.

It’s hard to be alone,
Alone before everyone,
Alone before the world,
Alone before suffering,
death,
sin.

Son, you are not alone,
I am with you.
I am you.
For I needed another human vehicle
to continue my Incarnation
and my Redemption.
Out of all eternity, I chose you.
I need you.

I need your hands to continue to bless,
I need your lips to continue to speak,
I need your body to continue to suffer,
I need your heart to continue to love,
I need you to continue to save,
Stay with me.

Here I am Lord,
Here is my body,
my heart,
my soul,
Grant that I may be
big enough to reach the world,
Strong enough to carry it.
Pure enough to embrace it
without wanting to keep it.

Grant that I may be a meeting-place,
but a temporary one,
A road that does not end in itself,
because everything to be gathered there,
everything human, must be led to you.

Lord, tonight, while all is still
and I feel sharply the sting of solitude,
While people devour my soul
and I feel incapable of satisfying their hunger,
While the world presses on my shoulders
with all its weight
of misery and sin,
I repeat to you my “yes”
—not in a burst of laughter, but slowly,
clearly, humbly.

Alone, Lord,
before you,
In the peace of the evening.

– – – written by Fr. Michel Quoist, 1954, France

May God give you His Peace.

Our Deacon Tony of St. Thomas More sent this to us this morning. I want to share it with you because it is such a wonderful reading and reflection.
May you be blessed in a special way today…………………………………….*
Meditation: Ephesians 2:4-10
“God, who is rich in mercy.” (Ephesians 2:4)
Heavenly Father, how great is your love! I am amazed at the depth of your mercy toward me. Your love is perfect and unchanging, and you never take your eyes off of me.
You are all I need, for you sustain me with the bread of life and the cup of salvation.
You are worthy of all praise and honor and glory!
From the very beginning, Father, your arms have always been open wide, ready to receive me whenever I return to you in repentance and humility.
When I had turned away from you and my sin had separated me from you, you never forgot me.
You never forsook me.
You loved me so much that you let your only Son bear my sin on the cross.
I was dead, but you brought me to life.
I was mired in guilt, but you washed me clean.
You gave me a new heart and a new mind. I rejoice that I can freely come to you and hear your words of life. I rejoice that I can know you as my Father!
Jesus, you are seated in the heavens with all authority and power.
You are exalted as Lord over heaven and earth, and all praise and glory belong to you.
I celebrate the fact that you have reached out your hand to me, inviting me to be seated in heaven with you.
Yes, Lord!
You have raised me up and given me authority over sin.
You have given me power to resist the evil one.
You have made me a coheir with you of all the riches and blessings of heaven. How can I help but praise you and love you?
Lord, you have done so much for me!
When I was helpless and could do nothing on my own, you poured out grace so that I could believe in you and receive your help and power.
You loved me first, so that I could turn and love you. How amazing you are!
“Jesus, I rejoice in your amazing grace. I glory in your unfailing mercy. It is such a privilege to belong to you!”

Rest in the Lord your God

Sometimes we just need to pause for a moment and let our spirit rest. To be quiet and be calm in the midst of the thoughts in our head. Setting aside for a moment our obligations and responsibilities of the day to let God’s spirit fill our well that is drying up. To refresh us as we pass through a barren desert.
