Yes!!! Let’s start our day RIGHT… or any day for that matter with a great, positive and HAPPY attitude!

It’s a new day. A new week.

Yesterday is gone and past.

You can never take back, what you said or done.

But you can certainly as easily

START OVER!!!!

Get back on track and remind yourself how beautiful life is…  or can be!

New opportunities and it’s gifts and Grace

 

Are you struggling with something…?

 

Whatever it is…

Today, is your chance to CHANGE all that…

 

 

If it’s humanly possible. You can do it!

If it’s impossible. God CAN!

 

– Be creative.

– Enhance. Improve. Progress.

– Change course. Be flexible. Have a positive dialogue with yourself.

– Think out of the box. Step out of your comfort zone.

– Make a difference to someone’s day today

– Pause… sometime in the day even for a few moments to take a deep breath…. To appreciate the day!

If it’s not working out, “pause”  again… to get your composure back. Get your second wind. And ask for His “Grace” above. 

– – Most importantly, don’t forget God in your every day life. Talk to Him anytime of the day. And ask Him for faith even as small as a mustard seed. You’ve heard haven’t you? His Word says, “if you have faith as small as a mustard seed. You can tell this mountain to move and it shall.”

For it is done according to thy faith.

“Life does not play favorites.” It only gives back… to us…  what we put in first. Not the other way around.

Get into the habit of filtering what you allow your mind to dwell upon most of the time. If you allow a lot of garbage, then, you will have a lot of garbage in your life.

Soar and fly like an eagle…. rest if you must at times. We all need them after all.

Keep on looking on what’s before you and not what’s behind you. Looking at yesterdays only purpose is to learn the lessons life is teaching us. It’s not suppose to make us bitter or angry or change who we are but to GROW.

 

Look more of what’s good in people and your life…

When we were young we think if it’s good then, it must be good.

And if something is bad, then, it must be bad.

But as we mature, we learn that not everything that is good, is good.

And not everything that is bad, is bad.

A good example of this is…       food……..

Your favorite dessert.

Or vitamins.

Exercise.

If we consume these or do exercise more than you should or too much of it. It’s not so good anymore right?

Whatever it is. We learn from experience that anything done in excess is not good.

Now, I don’t know about you. But in my family and relatives I don’t know of anyone who eats this fruit, “GRAPEFRUIT.”

They say it’s really bad. It is so bitter tasting. Even if you find the sweetest grapefruit out there no one will eat it in our family. Because of it’s bitterness… .

But guess what.

As far as I know. It is the fruit that has most benefits. Google it.

So not everything that is bad… is bad!

So are “trials in life.” 

Trials I believe “prepare” us to the next level. The next opportunity. Where we are supposed to be…or meant to be…..

But it’s how we respond to them is what’s important and critical.

If we respond the right way.

It gives us wisdom, strength and character.

Life doesn’t play favorites neither does God.

“You reap what you sow.”

Everyone is dealt a deck of cards differently.

How do we respond?

Will we be ready? Or will life find us pouting…. whining in self pity….. or blaming something or someone else?

Growing up there was this song that has great lyrics about “trials.”

It has really touched my life and helped me along the way.

Today, I would like to share it with you.

I hope it ENCOURAGES you.

Trials makes us stronger.
It builds character.
Embrace it
you will gain wisdom.
There are no trials we can’t overcome

For as long as we can breathe… “there’s hope.”

Life is TOO SHORT & TOO BEAUTIFUL to waste on matters that doesn’t EMPOWER YOU or make you SMILE*……………

1. Make a habit of starting your day on a positive note. You can do that in many ways. Some people do it with meditation, yoga, physical exercise, others read an inspirational book or listen to a motivational audio…

For me, I, start my day with prayer and reading His Word.

Begin by being grateful when you wake up in the morning.

That YOU are ALIVE and WELL……………

Think about your blessings…

what you have as opposed to what you don’t have………..

thankful of where you are today instead of what might have been……….

Avoid starting your day with worries, concerns & thinking about today’s responsibilities.

Before you know it you will feel more wonderfully & happily alive than ever before……….

It doesn’t mean you won’t have bad days or things will always work out.

The fact is that “they won’t”  However, you will have the inner strength to handle those “kind of days.”

It might not happen overnight. But you will. That I can assure you. 

2. When dealing with adversity, challenges and issues that may arise. Make a habit of stepping back at the situation. Don’t react right away that you might say or do something you will later regret. Pause for a moment, take a deep breath, ask yourself questions that will help you think and act intelligently & objectively. 

3.On a perfect day, there will be times some people will ruin your parade for whatever reason. Your job is not so much as to understand them but to “rise above” through it all.

4. Don’t get caught up on what I call the Bermuda Triangle. 

It’s okay to feel sorry for someone else or yourself at times because that is part of being human. But don’t fill your day thinking or talking about what went wrong or why this or that happened. If it’s not helping you, then, “it’s not helping you.”

What we continually or habitually think or talk about is exactly the way we will feel or experience on any given day no matter how great our life is. 

That is why St. Paul exhorts us in one of his epistles to the Philippians in chapter 4:

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”

5. We must all find “humor” in life. I have watched countless interviews of people who are still alive and well in their 100s on TV from different countries all over the world over the years and what I have found to be predominantly common are these:

* They don’t take life so seriously

* They look at what’s positive in a negative situation

* They can laugh at themselves

* They are always grateful

* They learned to LET GO easily

* They value time, people and themselves because they really know what this means “life is too short”

* Absolute faith in God
